Shannon Buckley Moore grew up in a small Western New York town along the beautiful banks of Lake Erie.  Growing up number four of five children, her middle class family was headed by a hard-working father and mostly stay-at-home mom.  As a young adult, she found herself the single mother of three, working fulltime, while earning both her Bachelor's Degree and MBA.  

Early in her career, Shannon served in the U.S. Air Force.  During her service, she won several awards as Managing Editor of a first-time award-winning Public Affairs Program,  Best Hometown News Reporting Program, and Best Small Unit Publication.  Her love of writing continued over the next 40+ years where she has formed meaningful connections between words, using them as a tool to convince, justify, and convey everything from feelings and emotions to facts and fiction.  

A lifelong learner, when she is not writing, Shannon can be found with any one of her five beautiful grandchildren who keep her forever young.
